After receiving a package from my employer I went through a 4 month program with Right Management, a well-known job assistance company in New York City. Their program was useful, but produced weak results. I found an ad for IT Careers in PRO Magazine and decided to call.
I started by attending Best Practice Seminar and saw right away that I was at the right place. Steven and Roman are real experts in helping IT professionals focus their job search and addressing every little detail of the process. I started my “Career Transition” program in the April of 2015. Once my resume and LinkedIn were finalized, IT Careers started a marketing campaign that quickly led to 8 interviews at Prudential Insurance Company.
Roman and Steve were literally holding my hand and helped me prepare for each and every interview. Even though I was not selected for that position, I gained valuable experience and confidence in the preparatory program. In the following weeks I participated in the group “Best Practice” seminars and one-on-one mentoring sessions. And I am glad I did, because I gained a lot of additional knowledge about other IT professions like Project Management, Quality Assurance, as well as insight into the financial industry. Finally after tree and a half month of endless interviews I’ve landed a new job as a Sr. Business Analyst with Brown Brothers Harriman.
